The Story Behind Project Samma

Meet Silvia Campos and her daughter Erica Boltares. This mother and daughter has been making mission trips to Ensenada to help people in need. Silvia is a housekeeper at a hospital and her daughter is an entrepreneur. Together they have self funded their mission trips including collecting clothes, kitchen items, and cook a delicious meal at the school. Silvia and her husband started this mission work 20 years ago and have since be an example for her daughter Erica.

This is what Erica says about her mom; “She has been a great role model for me, teaching me you don’t need a lot of money to be able to help”.

Erica along with her husband Eric Boltares has joined her mother’s missions and plans to continue her legacy for many years to come.

Erica has this to say about her husband; “I’m not able to do it without him he supports me on all this”.

Manna Blessings would like to introduce- 

Project Samma. This project is named after the Bible school “Escuela Biblica Jehova Samma” located in Ensenada Mexico. This school has been around for 40 years and have grown tremendously in size. This is where Silvia, Erica, and Eric have devoted their time, love, and resources in helping the men that come to this school.

A little bit about this school:

-4 year Bible school that empowers men to become Pastors

-only school in Mexico that do not charge a tuition fee for anyone that attends

-these men are coming from economically disadvantaged regions of Mexico. They come to this school to find themselves in God’s work.

-they have relied heavily on donations in all forms to run the school.

Silvia’s son attended this program and has seen the important work they do at this school. This where her heart and determination to keep the school running comes from.

Their next trip is in September 2026. They are looking for the following donations:

-Used Computer(s)

-financial donations to buy food for the school so they can have a warm, delicious meal prepped for them at the school
